Healthcare Cardiac Division Redevelopment:

Renovation of 18,500sq.ft. of space in the cardiac division of the hospital with $34,000,000 project budget which was constructed and operationalized in compliance with healthcare and municipal standards enforced by the governing authorities.

The project included renovation of 2 cardiac outpatient clinics with 23 exam rooms, 2 waiting areas, 2 patient registration areas, 3 patient change areas, 2 staff lounges, 2 conference rooms, multiple staff and patient wheelchair accessible washrooms, research spaces, telemedicine areas, physician reporting areas, medication rooms, nursing stations, administration spaces, equipment storage spaces, environmental services closets, IT closets, soiled equipment spaces, clean supply storage spaces, new major HVAC equipment, healthcare gases, AV equipment, advanced communication systems, energy efficient and automated electrical infrastructure and electronic security and monitoring systems.

Project also included 3 state of the art cardiac catheterization operating rooms which were equipped with advanced x-ray equipment, control rooms, machine rooms for all equipment. All operating equipment was backed up with emergency electrical power provided by generators, new major HVAC equipment, healthcare gases, advanced communication systems, energy efficient and automated electrical infrastructure and electronic security and monitoring systems.

To support the cardiac operating rooms, there was also a state of the art patient surgical preparation and recovery space constructed with 12 patient bays, large nursing station, an isolation bay, soiled equipment spaces, clean supply storage spaces, medication room, multiple staff and patient wheelchair accessible washrooms, new major HVAC equipment, healthcare gases, advanced communication systems, energy efficient and automated electrical infrastructure and electronic security and monitoring systems.

Construction of administrative office floor:

Complete interior demolition of one full floor of a high-rise office building and construction of new offices and open work spaces. The area of this project was 5,500 sq.ft. with a budget of $1,100,000. Project included 15 offices, 8 open workspaces, large filing room, kitchenette, IT closet and wheelchair accessible washrooms and showers. The office was constructed to allow for maximum daylight and with modern open concept space. 

Reconfiguration and modernization of office space:

Reconfiguration of 3,500 sq.ft. of office space with a project budget of $250,000. Project included removal of all large high wall cubicles and creating a modern workspace by providing more efficiently sized cubicles, lower cubicle walls, more collaborative spaces, meeting spaces equipped with AV equipment, new flooring, new signage, efficient use of space to maximize productivity and removal of interior walls to provide an open concept office space.
